Looking Up

Oil on canvas  18 x 24 created for South Korean Exhibition Visible Poetry Connecting the World founder Yoo Choong Yeul, event by Hanam City.

Looking up is an abstract contemporary representation of life after nuclear interruption  of the environment and how nature begins to repair and replace itself with positive growth. The circles are artists that represent the  love that push gently against the cold metal edges of the power plant making it softer with every painting and exhibition that is created to bring awareness.

Poem by Taro Aziz from My Fukushima pg 84

Fragrant Olive

When the autumn wind

Blows through the garden

Small orange blossoms

Of fragrant olives scatter –

My wife’s hair.
