At The River’s Edge Landscape – The Villages Enrichment Academy

Paint the lush foliage and trees growing on the river’s edge. The focus is on the reflection in the water.

PAINT- You can use and paint and paint colors that please you. I used a variety of reds, Naples yellow, bright yellow, hooker green deep, light orange from Daley Rowney,  alizarin crimson, white, ultramarine blue, deep violet. black

PREPARATION- You are welcome to bring your canvas with a thin loosely painted layer of orange (do not make this too dark or thick because the paint on the surface will not adhere properly). I used the Daler Rowney orange. You can use a rectangle canvas. I will use a 16 x 20 size or 24 x 18 in class.

BASICS – Please bring the basics (example-paper towels etc.)  See photo.
