Joy of Abstract Painting-The Enrichment Academy

In this class, students will build a painting using only three colors, line, and movement, working through a layered process inspired by Picasso’s early explorations before Cubism fully emerged. Emphasis is placed on continuous line, repetition, and shifting viewpoints, allowing form to evolve through overlap and interruption rather than realism. Students will explore how movement, structure, and limited color can suggest multiple moments and perspectives at once, using layering to think, revise, and re-see the image as it develops. No previous experience is needed. All levels are welcome. All levels are welcome. Students are required to bring the required listed basic table set up. The paint colors are suggestions only. Feel free to bring different colors. This class is open to all levels, and we’re here to help you create a moving seascape. Registration is not until after Meet the teacher day on Sept 18ish.
