Paint Flowing Water – The Villages Enrichment Academy

Learn how water paintings can enhance all types of painting skills. This will show you how to make with transparent layers with acrylic.

1. Paint colors- Liquitex – heavy body phthalo blue, hooker green #225 (not #224), Alizarin Crimson, phthalo green yellow shade, light blue-violet.
2. If you can not find phthalo green yellow shade just bring a transparent light yellow and make your own.
3. Your choice – of white, black
4. Brushes- see the list. I used the  Large Princeton angled brush for most of this painting. The wash brush is a must. Brushes are important for water.
