Modern Day Impressionism?

“Our Dreams Make Us Come Alive”

This painting gave me such joy I had to share my thoughts.  Which Came first? The Chicken or The Egg? The Sky or The Ocean?

It is hard to tell when looking at this painting in which corner it all began.  I promise not to give you home work . Here is how it all happened.

As usual the Japanese meditation music set the peaceful mode in my studio.  The composition was waiting to bubble out at any moment. Strong brush strokes flowed out of me in continuous a flow from the pallet onto the canvas in a circular direction like a slow motion roller coaster ride of bright intense globs of brilliant blues and vibrant yellows until the painting was done and yet, a masterpiece that looks like a biblical revelation had just hailed from the sky.  Of course then came days of fine tuning the details.
